Nigel Gordijk
Nigel Gordijk is an independent creative director and graphic design consultant based in Brighton and Hove, East Sussex. Trading as Common Sense Design, he produces successful Web sites that are easy to use and visually engaging. With a commitment to customer service, he designs and delivers robust solutions to clients' business objectives with a professional attitude, quality design and proven technology. As well as working directly with business clients, Nigel also provides design services to several local technical development firms.
He has acted as lead designer on many high-profile projects including Thomson Holidays' Portland Direct Web site, Honda's All Terrain Vehicles site, Sabre Telecommunications (branding and Web design), Brighton & Hove Virtual Festival, and the Pictures & Exhibitions site for the Royal Shakespeare Company (working with Bright Interactive). Also, he regularly provides quality assurance consultancy services to BP.
Nigel is a co-founder and member of the management team for Creative Latitude, a world-wide network of creative professionals. He created the organisation's site and devised its name. He has contributed articles about Web design and project management to Ecademy, Webreference.com, CreativePublic.com, and eGrindstone.co.uk.
