PROFILE

Jon May is a Brighton based graphic designer and illustrator. He studied product design at Ravensbourne college of design and communication and has since diversified towards graphic design and illustration. A background in street art, a fertile imagination and a passion for image making are at the heart of his practice.

Previous projects include posters for furniture and product design collective Veto Studio, promotional material and branding for C-side, a commissioned mural for Route 1, fliers for local musicians, bars and nightclubs plus plenty of experimental self-initiated and collaborative projects.

He has exhibited at The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London as part of the Free Range graduate exhibition. His products were displayed at The Business Design Centre, Islington as part of New Designers 2003 while The Ideal Home Exhibition shortlisted 'Enlighter' for their innovation in consumer products award.
