RSS Feeds

RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like websites. Wired Sussex syndicate their own news stories, published press releases, events and job opportunities.

RSS feeds can be viewed through a special program called an aggregator or news reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. All allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.

To view the Wired Sussex newsfeeds simply drag and drop the orange RSS logos into your news reader. The feeds will then update automatically.

RSS feeds can also be used within an existing website using a XSLT stylesheet. A sample of the output of the Wired Sussex news feed viewed as a web page can be seen here. For assistance in incorporating a Wired Sussex feed into your own website please contact Wired Sussex.
